Cliburn Kids on the Road at Chandor Gardens - "Laugh Out Loud"

Chandor Gardens Foundation Inc. is honored to be collaborating with The Cliburn to offer its music education program Cliburn Kidson the Road for elementary school age children (6 to 12 years old) on Friday , March 15, 2024 in the Great Room of the Chandor Mansion at Chandor Gardens, 711 W. Lee Ave, Weatherford, TX from 11:00 A.M. to Noon.

If you are looking for a fun interactive activity for your child during spring break this is it. Class participants and their family members are welcome to explore Chandor Gardens after the class.

The theme for this program is “Laugh Out Loud”. They say laughter is the best medicine! It releases endorphins and strengthens our resiliency to stress. It increases oxygen intake, making us feel more focused and energized. In a time when kids are under more academic and social pressure than ever before, it’s important to remember to just have FUN! This program introduces kids to witty pieces of classical music and shows how even serious composers let loose once in a while.

The Cliburn Kids on the Road program introduces young audiences to classical music. This program presents the excitement of live piano performances to students and reinforce the basic elements of music through fun, interactive activities within the context of classical piano repertoire, which enable students to approach music through multiple intelligences.
